I've been a massage therapist for over 15 years and am still so inspired by the therapeutic benefits of this work. I really believe that everyone can benefit from some regular massage. It taps into something so instinctual in us all; the need for touch, which can be lacking in todays digital age.
I have worked in many different settings from offices and clinics to festivals. Most recently I volunteered in a hospice giving massage to patients and relatives. This was a profoundly moving experience and I'm thankful to have been given the opportunity to work with people at such a personal time.
I really care about everyone who comes to see me and a big part of my enjoyment in this work is seeing my clients progressing over time and making positive changes. I believe that a good treatment should last beyond the time spent having the massage which is why I always offer after care advice and ways to support your body in day to day life. I use my years as yoga practitioner and qualified teacher to inform my treatments and to encourage everyone to get back in touch with their bodies in whatever way suits them.
